About my work
Carole Lévy Kerebel is a french ceramist using the technic of terra sigillata.
Inspired mostly by the traditional arts of Japan,
country where were born the Kokeshi wooden dolls,
Carole Lévy Kerebel translates this ancient art into her unique ceramic creations
with a terra sigillata coating.
Carole Lévy Kerebel models, polishes, engraves
and burnishes each piece before the kiln and then they are smoked.
Her worshop is in Pau (south of France).
